NEEDED SUPPLIES: scissors used for cutting PAPER ONLY,
an X-ACTO knife, a picture frame mat (I used 8x10 for 5x7 print), some
old magazines, and glue. (Scrap-booking glue is recommended but I use
Elmer's craft bond in clear and is photo safe.)
- STEP 1: Cut out items that appeal to you out of magazines. I went with a handbag and shoe theme.
- STEP 2:
Carefully place the pictures in a collage form on the frame. Figure out
how you want them to look before you glue them. After you have achieved
the look you want, glue the pieces down one by one, overlapping some to
make it not so uniform.
-
STEP 3: Once the glue has dried, cut the extended pieces with the X-ACTO knife. BE VERY CAREFUL!!!
Feel along the inside edges where the frame curves in and cut along
that edge. When done with inside, flip over to back side and place
cardboard under frame. Cut along the outside edge where the frame ends.
- STEP 4: Clean up any glue that oozed out onto the inside of the frame with a damp paper towel and let it dry and YOU'RE DONE!!! ENJOY!!!

Cut along edge to have edges and corners. Be careful not to cut too deep-you will be able to see it from the front! |
